Noel Turlington

I’m Noel, and I enjoy going down rabbit holes.

Most of them turn into apps. At early-stage crypto startups (Hyperlane, before that Fermah and Privy) I was embedded with partners, shipping deals and integrations end to end. These days I’m building my way into full-stack, AI-native product work, one small fast tool at a time.

RESEARCH IT

01

Almost everything I make comes out of something I actually live — a bridge, a wind forecast, a training week.

Portrait of Noel Turlington
1.1 · The author · Brooklyn, NY

I studied Information Science at Columbia and Economics at Sciences Po, both class of 2023. One school in New York, one in France. Then straight into crypto infrastructure: a summer at Privy (since acquired by Stripe), the founding team at Fermah, then Hyperlane, where I owned a 20-account partner pipeline end to end and closed $300K+ in partnership deals through 2025. Ecosystem, product, strategy, whatever the stage needed — mostly making complicated technical systems make sense to the people using them. Since December 2025 I’ve been shipping my own products full time.

DESIGN IT

02

The apps here started as tools I wanted for myself, then became things I ship, maintain, and use every day.

Topsail Traffic

Beat the bridge.

A live “when to leave” app for the Surf City bridge onto Topsail Island. Real-time traffic, NOAA tides, NCDOT incidents, two live cams, and a 7-day trip planner, so my family and I never sit in the holiday backup again.

Boundless

My training week, made an app.

Drift-free interval timers, Oura recovery sync, AI health read-outs, and SMS workout logging, built around my own 7-day plan. 30+ releases of nights-and-weekends iteration.

Kite PR

Wind, read at a glance.

A kiteboarding forecast dashboard for Puerto Rico. Multi-source wind across 20+ spots on one live map, an AI conditions read, history charts, marker clustering, and push alerts when it’s finally on.

JobTracker

The one with a real backend.

Built to run my own job search like a sales pipeline: a kanban board, an inbox scanner that reads Gmail for status changes, SMS nudges on stale items, and analytics on what’s actually converting. The most full-stack of the bunch: real accounts, a real backend.
